As a non-profit organization, we operate on a combination of tuition and charitable contributions. A family in need of help is never turned away because of their inability to pay the full premium. How do we make up this deficit? Through individuals, businesses, youth groups, and churches just like you. People who give because they have a heart for boys in trouble and who long to see families restored to healing. You can help us in specific ways.
Pray that God will work in the hearts of our boys and that they will be brave enough to look at their problems and be willing to change.
Pray that God would protect us physically and spiritually.
Pray that God would give our staff wisdom as only He can give.
Pray for healing for the broken places in the hearts of our boys and their families. That old patterns of behavior could be transformed into new, healthy ways of living.
We have been blessed with many, generous donations from building supplies to food to cosmetics. Youth groups have grown corn and potatoes for our camp kitchen. Families and family-owned businesses have donated beef, milk, as well as construction materials for staff house and campus buildings.
- Our copier needs to be upgraded. The projected cost is around $10,000. If you are interested in helping
with this project please contact camp.
- Canoeing is an important part of camp’s program. Each year boys at camp spend many weeks canoeing many of the longest rivers in the eastern half of the United States. This creates many opportunities for learning academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Some of Allegany Boys Camp’s canoes are worn out! Of course, we want to make sure any canoes we send on a lengthy trip are sea worthy. So if you would like to you would like to help with the expense of purchasing some new canoes, please contact camp or donate via Paypal (see button below) and add a note specifying the donation for the canoe project. We are hoping to raise about $5,000 to purchase 8 new canoes. Thanks for considering this opportunity!
We often have work projects going on and rely heavily on volunteers. It may be a building project, planting trees for re-forestation, painting, splitting wood, or extra cleaning. Be prepared to get dirty, work hard, and have lots of fun!

We couldn’t operate without the generous financial gifts from individuals and businesses and churches. These contributions help to pay the groceries and electric bill, purchase canvas for tent material, life jackets, and a plethora of other things to create a functional, therapeutic environment.
